A-Rod a Marlin?
Marlins' management's announcement that A-Rod could be a Marlin is ... A -- laughable? B -- desperate for publicity? C -- the silliest thing you've heard this week? D -- all of the above.
I saw on espn.com this morning that the Marlins are actually thought to be talking to Boras. This just occurred to me: assume ARod really wants to win a world series. The Yanks have shut the door, the Bosox will at least have to be quiet while they try to negotiate with Lowell, given the reaction of their fans at the WS. What other team has won multiple world series in the last 10 years? Only the Marlins. That's why Boras is talking to the Marlins! Now, if you believe that I have an inventory of bridges I'd like to show you ...

I think this is Boras-generated BS. He's trying to generate hype and Marlins can pretend briefly that they mignt increase payroll.
