Champions of the world in 1997 and 2003 -- and now?
great question. You can look up the answer by rooting around at baseball reference, and its related sites for football, basketball and hockey. Depending on how you qualify the question, there are a number of teams that have never made the playoffs and therefore never lost a post season series. For example: The NFL's Houston Texans. and the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. There are also vagabond franchises that never made the playoffs in one of their incarnations. For example, the San Diego Clippers and gthe New Orleans Jazz. I suppose in baseball the Washington Senators that were managed by Ted Williams, and ending up moving to Texas, would be another example . . .
Has a franchise from Washington ever represented the National League in the post season?
